I came across a lot of iPhone users who ask why don’t I jailbreak my iPhone? My response is always the same, why do you need to? Some people have answers, some don’t. For the latter, they usually don’t have the slightest idea what it’s for. I personally never really explore the jailbreak world and never feel the need to. The only reason why I need to jailbreak is that I still own the original iPhone and I need it to be unlocked, other than that, I see no reason why.
I find the App Store already offer more than I can take and the fact that there’s around 250,000 apps available, even if only 10% of them are useful, it’s 25,000 apps, pretty sure you can find a few that suit you, I hope.
For those who do jailbreak their iPhone, what is it that make you want it? Is it all just to get “free” apps? Really? Is it a certain feature that’s only available in jailbreak mode? I’m curious what users actually do in jailbreak mode, what make me even more surprise is that there’s even paid apps available. So, please tell me in the comments why do you jailbreak your iPhone?
I started to use the wordpress app again on iPhone 4 recently and I notice when it’s trying to help me to create a link, somehow it is displayed wrongly.

As you probably know, there are two fields needed to be fill in, first is the title and the second is the link itself. You can still type the title (without seeing it being displayed) and you can tap on the link field to paste it from the clipboard, but it is a little bug needed to be fixed.
If you often shop online or send documents/packages to others, it is great to be able to track them via their respective websites, but with the iPhone, of course there’s an app for it. Whether you shop from eBay, Amazon.com, Apple online store or any other places, you probably offered to use one of these services, USPS, UPS, DHL or maybe FedEx. You might know that some of them provide individual apps just for this purpose (except DHL for now), but I want to tell you that why use individual app when you can track them all from one app.

These are the two apps that I find most used by others who like to follow entertainment news, celebrity gossips and such, Popeater and E! Online. Both of these free apps will feed you all the things that is happening in the entertainment business.

For all tennis fans who use iPhone, you should not miss this official app, Australia Open app. It has everything you need to know about the event, from live score of ongoing matches, completed matches results, games schedules, news, players’ bio, online radio, event walkthrough, latest images, maps and even some of the players’ twitter activities. It is very well planned and informations are provided clearly in each individual sections.
This is one of the great apps that helps users to easily follow a sporting event directly from an iPhone (similar to ESPN World Cup 2010 app), though I would like to see some videos highlight of the games to be added in, you know, a few short clip of the finishing move.

Is there a time when you need to find an information about something right from where you are? Well, with the help of smartphones, you can launch your browser and google it or maybe you go to wikipedia.org and search from there. On iPhone, apps make things not only easier but faster as well, no more wasting time and quota opening web pages. Just like any other apps, there are plenty of wikipedia apps available at the App Store, but here is to name a few:
